TRAM, Inc. is a Japanese owned automotive parts supplier, serving the Japanese Transplants (Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, etc.) as well as the domestic OEMs (GM and Ford). Located in Plymouth, MI, TRAM is a subsidiary company of Tokai-Rika Co. LTD, which is located in Nagoya, Japan. TRAM was founded in 1986 and currently employs 2,500 people at our 5 locations in North America. Candidate will be the design liaison between TRAM, TAC, customer and TRJ Design departments, assisting in negotiations of designs and ensuring customer expectations are met.
Technical Buyer - Michigan
Ensure the acquisition and continuous availability of high quality component parts and materials required for the production and assembly of TRAM Group products. Identification, develop and select cost-efficient vendors and negotiate mutually beneficial purchasing agreements. Understand current market conditions and how this affects the respective commodity pricing and supplier quotations. Ensure compliance with all professional standards of purchasing functions.
