Environmental Quality Analyst 9-11 - Warren Michigan
This position reviews Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) applications and develops ROPs with some
supervision. This Environmental Quality Analyst (EQA) conducts inspections of air pollution sources and
determines their compliance with applicable state and federal air pollution requirements. Duties require interaction with other districts, divisions, local and state agencies, industry representatives and the public.
Environmental Quality Analyst 9-11 - Lansing, Michigan
This position assists in the development of air quality emissions inventories required pursuant to State of Michigan reporting regulations as mandated by the federal Clean Air Act and other federal regulations. This position is responsible for assisting with the estimation of pollutant emissions from point and nonpoint sources of air pollution, the data quality assurance process, and the routine maintenance of reference data for the point source emissions reporting system.
Environmental Engineer 9-11 - Detroit, Michigan
An Environmental Engineer completes technical review of engineering plans, specifications and other
documents submitted as part of the Renewable Operating Permit (ROP) applications, and develops
ROP permits with some supervision. An Environmental Engineer also conducts inspections of air
pollution sources and determines their compliance with applicable air pollution control rules. Duties
require interaction with other districts, divisions, local and state agencies, industry representatives.
