What is Job Pursuit?
Job Pursuit is a unique blend of small private institutions with highly prepared and well-educated students seeking internships and full-time positions. Students and employers have the opportunity to engage through networking and on-site interviews. It was established in 1978 and is the oldest collegiate job fair consortium in Michigan.
Who should attend?
Sophomores, Juniors, and seniors from participating schools who are interested in exploring internship and employment opportunities with a variety of companies. There are opportunities in business, social services, and government for a broad array of majors.
How much does the fair cost and how do I register?
To register, you must contact the Career Services Center at your respective school. Registration is required. You will be assigned a number that will identify you to the employers for the day. Deadline to register is Friday, February 10, 2023.
How should I prepare and what should I bring?
You should research the companies that will be in attendance and target the companies that you want to network with. Bring plenty of resumes. Dress professionally; a modest business suit for both men and women is appropriate. Limit the amount of jewelry and cologne you wear.

What time should I arrive and where do I park?
Be early, you should arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. Check-in is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The lunch starts promptly at 11:30 a.m. Free parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the hotel.
What about lunch?
Lunch will be provided along with an opportunity to network with employer representatives at lunch. During the lunch, held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., there will be a brief speaker and then guided discussions with employers to help you in your job search and professional development.
